About Your Inspector

Dane Zipperian’s journey reflects persistence, resilience, and an exceptional work ethic—qualities that define his approach to home inspections today. Before becoming one of Alaska’s few ICC-certified home inspectors, Dane built discipline working in sawmills, oil fields, and the U.S. Air Force. Despite sports injuries threatening his dream of service, he persevered, ultimately serving ten years managing advanced weapons systems and safeguarding multimillion-dollar munitions worldwide. That same precision and accountability now drive his commitment to delivering thorough, reliable home inspections across Alaska.

Now in Alaska, Dane completes 350 to 450 inspections each year, serving clients from the Kenai Peninsula to Talkeetna and into remote villages. His clients value his ability to uncover what others overlook and to identify the issues that matter most to a home’s long-term value. By the age of 30, Dane had purchased five properties of his own, giving him both technical expertise and the perspective of a homeowner. Every inspection reflects that balance of knowledge and lived experience, strengthened by his drive to continually advance his skills and raise the standard of his profession.

Outside of work, Dane and McKenzie embrace Alaska with their three dogs, spending their time backpacking, snow machining, fishing, and taking on projects like converting a 35-foot school bus into a livable tiny home. Both personally and professionally, Dane is rooted in persistence, growth, and the pursuit of uncompromising standards.

Our Inspection Services

Buyer's Inspections

Becoming a homeowner is a big deal. That's why a professional home inspection is so crucial. Our comprehensive inspection is designed to uncover common and costly issues before you buy, providing you with a clear understanding of the property's condition. This way, you can move forward with confidence, knowing exactly what you're investing in.

Pre-Listing Inspections

Many homeowners make repairs using a pre-listing inspection report as a guide, which can greatly improve a home's marketability. Getting a pre-listing inspection demonstrates transparency and shows potential buyers that you are a proactive and responsible seller.

Commercial Inspections

A commercial inspection is a critical step in making a smart investment. We provide a detailed assessment of the building’s structure and systems—from the roof and foundation to the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Our thorough inspection helps you uncover potential issues and assess risks, so you can negotiate with confidence.

Radon Testing

Radon is a colorless, odorless, and extremely carcinogenic gas. In fact, it's the second-leading cause of lung cancer in the United States, right behind smoking. Because of this serious health risk, it's essential to test for radon regularly, whether you're a homeowner or considering buying a new home.

Mold Testing

Don't let hidden mold compromise your health or home. A professional mold test can uncover problems that are often invisible, like a musty odor or a hidden water leak, which could lead to structural damage and serious health issues. We use specialized tools to detect the presence of mold, identify the source, and help you take action before a small issue becomes a dangerous problem.

Thermal Imaging

An infrared scan uses a special camera to see what’s invisible to the naked eye. This allows us to find potential problems—like hidden moisture, insulation gaps, and electrical or HVAC issues—before they become major, costly repairs. Catching these problems early saves you time, money, and stress down the road.

3D Walkthrough

Get a virtual model of the home that you can walk through online — perfect for reviewing layout, sharing with friends/family, or keeping as a visual reference. This visual data provides an accurate, actionable inspection experience.

2D Floor Plan Sketch

Receive a clean, top-down floor plan layout with room dimensions. Helpful for space planning, remodeling, or furniture placement. This service gives you a clear, measurable understanding of the layout.
